High-Tech Dentist in Overland Park, KS
It’s all about you.
The tech is cool but you are what matters to us.
Modern dentistry done right
At Bowles Dental, our office has invested in some of the best dental technology around — if we do say so ourselves. Dr. Chad Bowles and our team are committed to seeking out the technology that will make your visits to our office more comfortable, more efficient, and result in more smiles for everyone.
Not all technology is created equally, however. We look for scientifically proven, cutting-edge equipment that will provide value to you. Sure, we love to explain the science (we’ll talk your ear off if you want) but we’re more excited to show you how our technology benefits you.

Our Office Technology
Every visit you make to our high-tech dentist office is customized to meet your needs and give you the most bang for your buck. During your visit, you might experience the benefits of technology like:
CEREC Same-Day Crowns
Precise 3D images create a digital blueprint. High-tech equipment uses these images to “print” a picture-perfect crown right here in our office in about an hour. Your root canal and crown can be completed in one visit with no return appointments and no temporary crown.
Fluoride isn’t new but it’s still amazing. It’s among the very best ways to help prevent decay and cavities, particularly in young kids whose teeth are still growing. But it’s great for adults, too. Ask about fluoride at your next visit to our high-tech dental office!
Sealants are like an invisible force field around your teeth. An ultra-thin synthetic material is painted onto the surface of your teeth, including the deep grooves in your molars. This helps to prevent bacterial buildup, tooth decay, and even stained teeth. Sealants are great for anyone with a history of cavities or who wants to feel more confident about their dental health.
High-Tech Dental Exams
We make sure to use the latest technology to give you the most accurate treatment recommendations while ensuring you feel completely comfortable during your comprehensive examination.
Provide a clear view of what’s happening in your mouth. We’ve found that kiddos get a real kick out of these and make them more comfortable about seeing the dentist. For adult patients, they allow you to work with your dentist to plan your treatment.
DIAGNOdent helps us diagnose decay before it becomes too advanced, so that we can provide you with more gentle and conservative treatments. This cutting-edge laser technology is so precise that we can diagnose several dental problems, including caries and periodontal issues.
Chad Bowles, DDS, PA
“I’ll admit that I’m a bit of a nerd when it comes to technology! I’m always researching tools and techniques and get excited when I find something new that can help our patients. My favorite right now? Same-day crowns. It’s fast and easy to make a perfect crown.”

What is an iTero Scanner, and how does it work?
An iTero Scanner is a state-of-the-art digital scanner that captures 3D images of your teeth and gums. By taking hundreds of images per second, the scanner creates a precise 3D model of your mouth that we can use to create custom-fitted dental appliances such as Invisalign, dentures, or night guards. Unlike traditional dental impressions, there’s no goopy mess, and it’s a comfortable and non-invasive experience.
