Overland Park Teeth Veneers

New smile.
New you.

Carefully crafted for impeccable results

What are dental veneers?

You might think veneers are only a way to improve the way your smile looks. But veneers are so much more than that. Veneers can:

K

Smooth out uncomfortably rough or worn teeth

K

Strengthen teeth weakened by chips or cracks

K

Close gaps that make it tricky to brush or floss

But of course, the cosmetic benefits of veneers can’t be denied. We work with a trusted dental lab known for their skill in crafting beautiful and natural-looking veneers that eliminate the appearance of stained or uneven teeth to create a uniform and beautiful smile.

At Bowles Dental, we’re proud to offer the latest in Overland Park teeth veneers. Want to explore other cosmetic options, too? See what’s possible for your smile.

How does the porcelain veneer process work?

Your First Visit

We start by learning what you want to change about your smile and planning your treatment.

Your Second Visit

During your first visit, we’ll prepare your teeth and create a model that the lab will use to create your veneers.

Once your Overland Park teeth veneers are ready, you’ll return to our office, and your veneers will be bonded securely in place. We’ll also talk about how to care for your veneers to keep them beautiful for years to come!

That’s all there is to it!

What can I expect at my first veneers consultation?

Before starting your Overland Park teeth veneers treatment, we encourage you to visit our office for a new patient appointment to discuss the issues you have with your smile and assess the health of your teeth and gums. In some cases, teeth whitening or other cosmetic treatments might be all you need!

Answers to your questions

Are veneers better than crowns or fillings?

Veneers, crowns, and fillings each solve different problems. Our Overland Park veneers work best for improving the appearance of chipped, stained, or slightly uneven front teeth. Fillings repair small areas of decay, while crowns protect teeth that are more damaged or weakened.

During your visit, we’ll help you choose the treatment that fits your smile goals and dental health.

How long do porcelain veneers last?

Porcelain veneers can last 10–15 years or longer with good care. Brushing, flossing, regular dental checkups, and avoiding habits like biting ice can help keep veneers strong and beautiful for many years.

Do veneers look natural?

Yes. Modern porcelain veneers are designed to match your natural teeth in shape and color. At Bowles Dental, we focus on results that look bright, balanced, and realistic, never overly white or artificial.

Does getting veneers hurt?

If you suffer from dental anxiety, don’t worry! The veneer process is very comfortable for most patients. We gently prepare the teeth and can use local anesthesia if needed. Most people experience little to no discomfort during or after treatment.

Are porcelain veneers permanent?

Veneers are considered a long-term treatment because a small amount of enamel is usually removed during preparation. That’s why we take time to make sure veneers are the right choice before starting.

How can I choose the right veneer dentist in Overland Park?

Choosing the right dentist starts with finding a team that values both oral health and natural-looking results. Look for experience, personalized planning, and high-quality materials. At Bowles Dental, we create veneers that enhance your smile while keeping your teeth healthy and strong.
